New York Fashion Week Favorites Collections

La semana de la moda en Nueva York dejó con ella atuendos, maquillajes, peinados y tendencias espectaculares, sin embargo hubo colecciones que deslumbraron más que otras, acá les dejo mis favoritas. 

The fashion week in New York left spectacular clothes, makeup, hairstyles and trends, but there were collections that dazzled more than others, here I leave my favorites.

Carolina Herrera

Este año Carolina Herrera presentó una colección impregnada con colores magentas y telas ligeras, además agregó algunas piezas de tonos oscuros. Sin embargo, lo más destacado en la pasarela fueron los atuendos rosa con delicados detalles.

This year, Carolina Herrera presented a collection infused with magenta colors and light fabrics, also added some pieces of dark tones. However, the highlight on the catwalk were the pink outfits with delicate details.

Givenchy

Por otro lado, Givenchy impuso una escala de grises con toques bronces y dorados de exquisito dramatismo en sus atuendos. Aunque la pasarela fue espectadora de algunos outfits simples, las piezas más excéntricas fueron las que se llevaron total atención. 

On the other hand, Givenchy imposed a grayscale with bronze and gold that accents exquisite drama in their outfits. Although the runway was a spectator of some simple outfits, the most eccentric pieces were those that took full attention.

Marchesa

Marchesa esta temporada jugó con prendas que delinearan la cintura de la mujer y prologaran cierta extensión, además utilizó tonos pastel en la mayoría de sus prendas, no obstante en algunos atuendos optó por colores fuertes; como los ven en las fotos.

This season Marchesa played with garments that delineate the woman's waist, also they used pastels in most garments, however in some outfits opted for bright colors; as seen in the photos.

Oscar de la Renta

Un abanico de color deslumbró en el catwalk de Oscar de la Renta, sus piezas abrazaron fuertemente los colores de la primavera. Asimismo, su colección presentó prendas variadas que se amoldan a diversas ocasiones.

A color range dazzled in the catwalk of Oscar de la Renta, its pieces strongly embraced the colors of spring. Also its collection presented varied garments that adapt to different occasions.

Vera Wang

Las sensuales prendas de Vera Wang fueron de mis colecciones favoritas, no sólo por sus atípicos atuendos, sino también porque seleccionó el negro como el color principal de la colección. Además, agregó metalizados para darle brillo a algunas de sus piezas.

 Vera Wang sensual garments were  one of my favorite collections, not only for its atypical costumes, but also because the selected black as the main color of the collection. Also, she added metallic to brighten some of its parts.

Con Jeremy Scott: Más es Más

Jeremy Scott en sus dos últimas colecciones de otoño mostró un estilo bastante caricaturesco y colorido. No es atípico de este diseñador celebrar el excentrícismo, asimismo los atuendos estuvieron inundados de colores vivos y metálicos, diferentes mezclillas y texturas, además de divertidos conceptos como el de "osito de peluche"

Jeremy Scott in his last two fall collections showed a rather cartoonish and colorful style. Is not atypical of this designer celebrate eccentricity, also the costumes were colorful and metallic tones, different 

textures and denims, and also funny concepts such as "teddy bear"

Aunque, Moschino tiende a realizar atuendos escandalosos, creo que se han sobrepasado con el excesivo uso de animal print e incluir a los looney toons. Además, de las prendas de mezclillas de jeans con tonos metalizados. Fue demasiado. Todo fue tan exagerado que verdaderamente parecen disfraces. 

Although, Moschino tends to make outrageous outfits, I think they have exceeded the excessive use of animal print and include the looney toons. Moreover, the denims jeans garments with metallic shades. Was too much. Everything was so excessive that truly seem costumes.

Sin embargo, me ha gustado bastante el tema de oso de peluche, lo considero adorable y divertido. Puedo ver a muchas bloggeras usándolo sin verse listas para ir a una fiesta de disfraces. 

However, I liked the teddy bear theme, I consider adorable and funny. I can see many bloggers using it without looking ready to go to a costume party.

Adelantos de Tendencias para el 2015

Colores, texturas y estilos que se impondrán la próxima temporada

Para la temporada de primavera-verano del 2015 van a haber unos cuantos cambios a diferencia de los años anteriores, basándome en que muchas de éstas persistieron o sufrieron ligeros cambios. No obstante, hay algunas que se quedaran por un rato más como los estampados florales, las faldas a la cintura y los colores pastel. 

For spring-summer 2015 will be a few changes unlike previous years, based on many of these things that have persist or suffered slight changes. However, there are some who will stay for a while more as floral prints, waist skirts and pastel colors.

Colores: Los colores pastel son un must para los atuendos, sin embargo algo totalmente nuevo para esta temporada es la inclusión del gris. 

Colours: Pastel colors are a must for the costumes, but something entirely new for this season is the inclusion of gray.

El estilo: El minimálista, mientras más simple mejor se verá el look. Otro estilo que causará furor es el oriental, los vestidos, capas y opciones tipo kimono, con mangas dolman o cuello Mao; son un must. Además, del sporty chic que es la selección de muchas porque aporta comodidad. 

The style: is minimalist, the simpler the better it will look. Another style that will cause fury is the oriental, dresses, coats and kimono type options with dolman sleeves and Mao collar; are a must. In addition, the sporty chic that is the selection of many because it provides comfort.

     Must:

• Blazer 
• Falda de cintura extra alta/Extra high waist skirt.
• Kimono

Texturas. Metalizadas, se verán, sobre todo, en el calzado. Aunque, también en accesorios. Como ya lo había comentado a principios de año, esta tendencia está buenísima para relucir en cualquier momento y cada vez viene con más fuerza. 

Textures: Metallic, will be especially in footwear. Although, also in accessories. As already mentioned earlier in the year, this trend is very good to shine at any time and every time is harder.

Estampados: Tropicales selváticos y florales, todo que que vaya acorde con la primavera y el verano. Estos estampados se presentarán con colores fuertes y se podrán hacer combinaciones para el día y la noche. Además, las prendas con estampados geométricos también son una tendencia. 

Prints: Tropical jungle and floral, everything that goes in line with the spring and summer. These prints will be presented with strong colors and combinations may be made for the day and night. In addition, garments with geometric prints are a trend too.
